Dr. Mary A. Whitlock:
Dr. Whitlock, a Missouri native, graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. For the first four years after graduation, she practiced at a five-doctor mixed animal practice in Omaha, Nebraska. Hoping to find a practice closer to her family in Southwest Missouri, she left Omaha in Spring of 1985, but took a detour and ended up two months later in Eugene, Oregon. She ran a small animal practice there for nine months before buying Countryside Animal Clinic in Junction City, Oregon. In 2003, after 17 years of practicing in a 760-square-foot clinic, she finally had an opportunity to buy the building and add on to the clinic. She is now very proud of her beautiful, 3300-square-foot, state-of-the-art, small animal clinic!
Dr. Whitlock's veterinary interests include senior care, dermatology and life-long pet wellness care. She married her husband, Wayne Earnshaw, in 1999, and together they have a very lucky, beloved, rescue yellow Labrador named Hunter. Dr. Whitlock's outside interests include hiking with her family and community service with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and The Education Together Foundation.
Dr. Judy Schroeder:
Dr. Schroeder, a native of Seattle, graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Eugene area ever since.
